Process
-Participants will be provided a link to the lyrics of DJ Scrilla's "UCI Anthem," a rap song specifically made to promote UCI spirit and culture.
They will NOT, however, be provided the music.
-The participants' job will be to decide how THEY would perform the lyrics, and film themselves doing so.
-Upon completing their videos, the will submit them to the front desk of the Student Government Office by 5pm on Monday, February 23rd.
-Participants will have a great deal of creative freedom, as they may customize the lyrics to fit their own activities and involvement at UCI.
The style and setting of their videos will also be completely up to them.
Prizes
-Videos will be judged NOT on the students' ability to rap, but rather, on their creativity and enthusiasm, as this is primarily a spirit event.
-The top 10 submissions will be screened in HIB 100 on Wednesday, February 25th at 7pm. Of these, the top 3 win prizes, such as Theme Park Tickets and UCI Dining gift cards good anywhere on campus.
