As the returning Farmer’s Market Commissioner, I welcome you on behalf of ASUCI to participate in our upcoming Farmer’s Markets!
As slated, the Farmer’s Market is a great opportunities to sell to our vast and diverse student body. The Farmer’s Market takes place on Ring Mall Road beginning at Anteater Plaza, leading up to our highly populated Student Center. The Farmer’s Market will consist of non-agriculture and agriculture products for sale. I look forward to working with our past vendors as well as bringing in new and upcoming sellers to cater to our students!

UCI students are the primary customers for our Farmer’s Markets.
Markets are held monthly throughout the year on a given Monday. This year’s 2011-2012 dates are:

Off Campus Food Vendor Requirements
RATES AND CHANGES:
Expect to see policy changes to the 2011-2012 Farmer’s Markets to make the Farmer’s Markets more efficient. Please thoroughly review our 2011-2012 Farmer’s Market Policy for additional information.
All Farmer’s Market space rates are good for Monday only and are distinguished between agriculture and non-agriculture rates:
If selling Agriculture, Non-Agriculture/Agriculture, Food, Beverage, and/or Concessions:

Any booth size above a 10’ x 30’ are limited and NOT guaranteed; first-come, first-serve. Max booth size is 10’ x 50’.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Farmer’s Markets are for vendors who have a California Seller's Permit, commercial liability insurance, and/or a Health Permit. Special consideration will be taken for food/beverage/concession/agriculture vendors as a case-by-case only; these vendors will be STRCTLY limited to participation. Please review the 2011-2012 Farmer’s Market Policy for more information.
Vendors are invited to participate in the Farmer’s Market at the sole discretion of ASUCI.
The criteria for selection of vendors include, but are not limited to:
- Desirability of the items or product
- Originality of the items or product
- Past performance during previous Farmer’s Markets
- Price point of items
- Number of vendors selling similar items
- Student feedback
- Timeliness of application
DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
- Parking permits will be given out upon check- in on the Monday of the Farmer’s Market, if purchased through the application process. Parking is not included in the price of the booth, but as an additional fee.
- The Student Center Parking Structure and Lot 1 are the closest areas for vendor parking. Please see Parking for a map of lots.
