Ernie Chen

Hey Eaters!  I'm Ernie Chen and I'm a 4th year Business Economics  major with a specialization in International Issues and Economics.  I'm named after Ernie from sesame street because of my older sister.  She liked him so much that my parents decided to name me by the ol'  rubber ducky lovin' puppet.  A bunch of my friends tell me that I  look like Count von Count (vampire from Sesame Street), Count Chocula (General Mills Cereal), and Edward Cullen.  Just kidding about the last one... sadly.

My favorite sport is basketball and my team is the Lakers (sorry to all the haters).  I'm also a big fan of Harry Potter (and yes, I think Hermione is mighty fine).  I love different languages, traveling, and eating all sorts of ethnic foods.  I was lucky enough 
to study abroad in Spain through UCI Travel-Study.  I got to run with the bulls in Pamplona!

My immediate plans after graduation is to travel to the nation's capital on the UCDC Program over summer to find an internship.  After the program, my plans are to hopefully find a job, study for the GMAT, and apply for graduate schools.
