REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Ex-Oficio Seat

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for Ex-Oficio, and

Whereas, it is the duty and repsonsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment, 

Whereas, a 2/3 Majority vote of council present is required to appoint a candidate to their potential and respective seat on council,

Wheras, per March 4th, Legislative Council convened in an offical meeting, and voted accordingly on the respective Winter 2010 Legislative Council candidates,

Therefore, let it be resolved that Adrian Ortiz be duly appointed to the open Ex-Oficio seat on the ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Fall Quarter 2010.
