REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Judicial Board Member

Whereas, there are is a vacancy on the ASUCI Judicial Board,

Whereas, applications were available for several weeks and the Executive Cabinet has had an opportunity to review the nominations, 

Whereas, according to the ASUCI Constitution (Article V, Section B, Subsection 3) the Executive Cabinet is charged with “Nominating all appointments to the Judicial Board for approval by a two-thirds  (2/3) vote of the Legislative Council”,
 
Whereas, after reviewing the applications and conducting interviews, the Executive Cabinet nominates Kayvon Hosseni for a seat on the Judicial Board,
 
Let it therefore be resolved that Kayvon Hosseni assume the office of Justice after the 7th day of approval of council,

Let it therefore further be resolved that Kayvon Hosseni be appointed to a seat on Judicial Board until the conclusion of Winter quarter 2014.
