REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Interim External Vice President

 Whereas, the External Vice President (EVP) position is currently vacant and,

 

Whereas, under Constitution Article 7, Section 3 (b), "If an elected Executive Officer position is vacant for any reason, the Executive Cabinet will select someone who will serve as the interim Executive Officer" and,

 

Whereas, the Executive Cabinet has convened and selected a candidate for interim EVP and,

 

Let it be resolved that Shronda Davis be appointed as interim EVP and,

 

Let it be resolved that the new interim EVP shall lead the office until the new 2018-2019 EVP is sworn into office and, 

 

Let it be resolved that Shronda Davis be promoted and accorded all rights, privileges, and responsibilities as afforded by her new position with all due haste and,  

 

Let it finally be resolved that Shronda Davis will relinquish her current role as EVP Chief of Staff.
