ASUCI Professor Luncheon Series

The ASUCI Professor Luncheon Series offers students an opportunity to get to know their professors outside of the classroom in a fun and informal setting. The Professor Luncheon Committee provides FREE lunch for the featured professor and all of the students who attend the luncheon. At least four professors per quarter from various schools and departments on campus are invited to speak about a topic of their choice. Topics range from their job requirements to their college life to their hobbies and interests, engaging students and helping them to find a common ground with their professor. Sometimes the professor just holds a question and answer session with the students allowing them to ask anything and everything that comes to mind. These informal discussions allow for student-faculty relationships to form leading to a greater interest in the professor's classes, research opportunities/recruitment, letters of recommendation and more.
