ASUCI PRESENTS SHOCKTOBERFEST 2009

Mesa Road / Bren Events Center
Starts @ 6pm.

For the second year in a row, Shocktoberfest will be combined with UCI Athletics Midnight Magic, the annual nationwide kickoff to the basketball season. The night-time event consists of an outdoor street festival where Mesa Road will be shut down to accommodate thousands of students, an outdoor performance stage, and club and sponsor booths. Festivities move inside the Bren Events Center where students experience the thrill of an amazing concert and a basketball exhibition by the UCI Basketball teams. The night is topped off by Aftershock, the Shocktoberfest after-party, outside on the street where people dance the night away to a DJ spinning on the outdoor stage. You won’t want to miss out on Shocktoberfest 2009!!

The following items are NOT permitted into Bren Event Center:

Ø  Banners / Posters larger than 20” x 24”
Ø  Animals / Pets ( Exception: Disability Service Animals )
Ø  Noise Making devices
Ø  Laser pens
Ø  Video cameras
Ø  Professional cameras ( Professional Lenses require Media Credential / approval )
Ø  Weapons / Toys that mimic weapons
Ø  Food & Beverages /Alcohol
Ø  Belts w/ Studs
Ø  Coolers
Ø  ** Halloween Costume Props

Other items not listed may not be permitted at discretion of Bren Events Center Management upon Entrance. We CAN NOT hold items for you if you bring something that is not allowed inside the Bren.  Please make arrangements to leave any banned items at home.
