Under the categories of Solos/Duets, A Capella, Band, and Dance, 13 acts will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges, notable UCI alumni, and talent agents working in the entertainment industry to help students pursue a career in entertainment. Also, a comedy group called, "The Soulstice League", will perform hilarious live comedy skits, videos, and musicals as transitions in between acts for your entertainment.
Soulstice is also proud to support the efforts of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the UCI Medical Center (UCIMC) by donating 20% of every ticket purchase. We'd like to thank you in advance for not only being here to support these talented and up-and-coming performers, but also for helping to support the nurses and doctors who will save the lives of countless babies in crisis.

The only all-male acappella group at UCI, Circle of Fifths is a student-run group with moxy, know-how, and vim. They are delighted to be performing at the first ever Soulstice! Music has always been an important part of us. There are so many great things that music can be to us and it has been something that we can rely on in both the lowest and highest moments of our lives. Whether it's a song that captures the emotions and memories of the past, a hook that puts life into the present, or a build-up that makes us excited for what's ahead, the melodies, harmonies, and whatever else goes into songs these days act as a living, breathing being that helps us express ourselves in ways that simple speech could never even dream of. What we have said can be seen as a little overboard for some people, but for us it's not. We think it's only fair to describe music in an overly romantic way, because we believe that it has done the same for us.Emmercelle DeLeon // Solo

Why hello there, I'm Emmercelle. I graduated from UCI in 2010. I majored in Literary Journalism and double minored in Education and Sociology. My hometown is Chula Vista - very, very south San Diego, in case you didn't know. I enjoy proper grammar, singing everywhere, and all the bright colors of the world. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is make my bed...while I'm still in it. My ambition in life is to pass along the love. Oh! And to visit Hogwarts.Erin Reigelsberger // Solo

I'm Erin Riegelsberger, a first year at UCI. My major is currently Undeclared but I'm planning on majoring in Psychology and Social Behavior and double minoring in Queer and Women's Studies. Though I was born in Columbus, Ohio, my family moved to Fremont, California when I was four and I have lived there in the Bay Area ever since. One aspect of me that could be considered interesting is a hobby of mine called slack lining through which I basically tight-rope walk on a rope that I tie in between two trees. My ambition in life is to interact with kids, whether through teaching or counseling, and to enrich their lives as much as I can.Jazzmine Farol // Solo

Jazzmine Farol is an 18 year old freshman at UC Irvine. She has been singing her entire life, even before she could talk, and music has always been her passion. She loves to sing, write music, act, dance, perform, play piano, play guitar, read, hang out with her family and friends, sleep, and volunteer at animal shelters. It doesn't matter where she's at, coffee houses or concerts, she just loves to sing to an audience. Jazzmine strives to make people happy and hopes to make you happy, too!Jolie Adamson // Solo

Born into a musical family, residing on the shores of San Clemente, California, Jolie grew up in an environment where acting, singing & dancing were a day-to-day part of life. At San Clemente High School (SCHS) Jolie performed in major Musical Theatre productions, garnering Lead roles in "Footloose" and "Anything Goes." As a Section Leader of SCHS Madrigals Choir, she sang on tour in Ireland and in New York City. She contributed to Ensemble pieces at Carnegie Hall performing with the Madrigals in a National Choir. By request, Jolie has sung the National Anthem at many public venues (WTA Mercury Insurance Open, Santa Barbara Polo Match, CIF Finals, etc), performed dozens of solos in churches across Orange County and donated her talent to Charitable Events. She has competed in The Spotlight Awards, held at The Walt Disney Hall, Los Angeles and the Singer of the Year, held by Rotary District 5320, where she took the Bronze Medal in Musical Theater. Summer of 2009 she studied Opera in Viterbo, Italy with the International Lyric Academy of Rome (ILAR). Although her primary training is in Classical Voice and Musical Theatre, Jolie has had a secret passion for Pop and R&B. Jolie heartily thanks her loving family for their unwavering support. Jolie sings from her heart and believes that she can accomplish anything with her faith.Tawny Chan // Solo

I was raised in Corona, California, and I am currently a freshman at UCI within the School of Social Ecology. My ambition is to learn until I can’t fit any more information into my brain! I truly wish to acquire/improve upon many skills and to pursue what I’m most passionate about, such as singing, piano, guitar, figure skating, coaching etc. I aspire to reach my fullest potential over my lifetime. Music, particularly, is a huge part of my life because I feel as though it motivates and completes me. I began my musical journey back when I took my first piano lesson in the second grade and I loved piano since! Although I had to stop piano lessons in freshman year of high school, it surprisingly gave me the opportunity to be more creative and to discover different areas of music I had never touched: singing and guitar. I joined my high school choir during my sophomore year and I found a voice I didn’t know existed! Madrigals choir was a memorable three years of high school which helped me to build my voice, friendships, confidence, and so much more. I also picked up the guitar that same year and taught myself through YouTube videos. I grew to absolutely love it and I’ve been playing ever since.Telefunk // Band

We are Telefunk! A graduate from UC Berkeley and a UC Irvine Senior make up the vocals of our band and our friend Mureed plays guitar. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, we have actually written and produced songs for famous artists like Kid Ink, Kid Cudi, Cody Simpson, Frank Ocean, ODD, and Future. Our ambition in life is to be able to attain success beyond our wildest imagination.Timothy Hagop Ketenjian // Solo

Hola! My name is Timothy Ketenjian, or “Timtim”, which is what most of my friends call me. I’m a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. I’ve been singing as long as I can remember, and started playing the piano when I was 7 years old. There’s nothing I love to do more than play music and make people smile! I’ve been blessed to work with many amazing people here at UCI, including the ever-talented guys of Circle of Fifths and even a random jam session at Pippin with Ramiele Malubay from American Idol! The highlight of this past year took place in the fall, when I got to sing for the wonderful Hilary Duff at UTC. This evening, I’m honored to sing for all of you and share a piece of myself. For me, it’s about letting music inspire you to lift up your own voice, to sing your own song, to “bring back the soul.” A big thanks to all my friends and family who have supported me on this musical journey. To quote my uncle, “All I can say is, let’s rock and roll!”Vermillion Vocalists // A Cappella

We are UC Irvine's premiere co-ed A cappella group. We arrange our own songs and perform a variety of music, ranging from pop, kpop, R&B, as well as many other classical and jazzy pieces. We sing anything and everything. Vermillion Vocalists consists of a group of wonderful people--all of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds-- who have one vital thing in common; a passion for music!YPC // Dance
We are YPC! We're all dancers who met during our freshmen year at Michi Mar's Hip Hop class. During lunch time one day at Pippin commons, Edric declared to Khoa and Kevin to rep the name YPC (without even asking if we agree) and soon after Alex joined us as well. Our ambition in life is to better ourselves everyday; physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.

These actors and actresses have worked tirelessly for months just to make you guffaw really hard on the day of the event.
