Dear Interested Vendor,

I would like to invite all interested vendors to submit the enclosed application for the UC Irvine Vendor Fair to be held August 4th - August 8th, 2008. ASUCI screens all the applications and selects vendors to set-up and sell their items to the campus community at designated times throughout the year. You may find the application online at www.asuci.uci.edu in April 2008.

Because of overwhelming response to our past shows and the limited space available, we now select vendors by a review committee. Vendors are selected by the desirability of their items to the campus community which includes hand crafted, manufactured or imported items. The committee looks for uniqueness of items and will select vendors in such a manner as to insure a wide variety of products for sale. Attention all returning vendors: due to a change in staffing, we will need new photos and inventories of merchandise for our files, along with your recent copies of your California Resale Permits. Also, please note that we no longer include a daily rate in our fairs. The reservation cost for this Fair is $50 versus 10% of gross sales, whichever is greater and will include a weeklong parking permit. The standard vending space available is 10’ X 10', however, we do have a limited number of larger spaces for an additional space reservation fee. All of the above items must be submitted no later than July 11th, 2008 to be considered (postmarks will not be accepted as meeting the deadline).
