Established in 1972, Wayzgoose is UCI's oldest
annual tradition. Initially conceived to liven up the social
life on campus, this medieval student festival displays a
wide variety of UCI organizations to the campus and surrounding
community. Different student, faculty, and staff organizations
operate a wide assortment of booths offering multi-cultural
foods, games, displays, and crafts. Also located throughout
Aldrich Park are stages scheduled with live entertainment,
wandering minstrels, jugglers, and carnival rides for the
children. Don't miss the petting zoo, pony rides, snake handling,
or petting wild animals. There is always something happening
as you stroll through the park visiting the vast array of
student organization booths.
