Dodgeball World Record

UC Irvine is back to break the Guinness World Record for the largest dodgeball game. Last year, UC Irvine broke the previous world record, held by the University of Alberta, Canada, with 1,745 UCI students. This year UC Irvine will attempt to reclaim the record, currently held by The United States Air Force Academy (nearly 4,000 participants) with an astonishing number of our own - 5,000 Anteaters!
Reasons to Play:

- Live music before and after the game
- The Shocktoberfest line-up will be announced at the end of the event

If that’s not enough, for every student who comes and stays for the entire event (from registration until the game is over) will be entered into a drawing.

- FREE ACC parking for a quarter (3) – ACC Residents Only
Additional campus shuttles will be provided for residents in Campus Village and Mesa Court. It is extremely advised that participants take the shuttle due to the limited parking at the ARC.
Please come dressed in your spirited UCI Blue OR Gold gear. FREE official Dodgeball t-shirt must be worn during the game.
Please leave bags and valuables at home but bring cash for snacks. There will be no secure storage area provided.
The game will be played on grass. Chose your footwear accordingly.
Lastly, please remember, the five rules of dodgeball: DODGE, DIP, DIVE, DUCK, AND DODGE! Don’t forget to bring your A-game and most importantly your Anteater spirit to the field.

Target is opening their store after hours exclusively for UCI students on Wednesday, September 21st from 10:30 p.m. – 12:30a.m. Special offers will be included just for this event! Transportation will be provided with busses shuttling from:
- Mesa Court Housing Office
- Flagpoles
- The ARC
