Hello Anteaters!

I truly hope you all are taking care of yourselves and focusing on important matters in regards to your emotional, mental, physical, and educational wellbeing. I know this time has been very difficult, heartbreaking, and frustrating on various measures. I wanted to let you know that ASUCI is trying their best to discuss and continue advocacy efforts in any means possible to make sure that we are helping you all and ensuring that you all are getting the assistance and resources you need for this final quarter together.

We wanted to update you on the functions of ASUCI student government in regards to COVID-19. Unfortunately, at this moment, ASUCI can no longer function on campus until further notice. In tune to the large campus events policies, and COVID-19 policies, all on-campus and large gathering events have been cancelled. To name a few: Vendor Fair, Summerlands, Zot Talks, Mental Health Conference, Soulstice, and more. It truly hurts to know that the events we have planning and coordinating for you all this whole year have come to an end. Our offices are working remotely, and all elected officials are still available online and via email. Feel free to reach out for anything.

In response to COVID-19, there have been a number of changes on campus and as you know many decisions made in regards to online classes, commencement, housing, parking and transportation, on campus functions, and so much more. I am attaching a link to a survey for you all to fill out if able and willing. We want this survey to be a way that you can voice your concerns, or provide us any more additional information on how we can advocate for you. We really want to use this data to coordinate our efforts moving forward, so please fill this out to the best of your ability. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We are here for you!
