Teresa MouaHousing Security Commissioner

Hello Anteaters! I am Teresa Moua, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a 4th year double majoring in Criminology, Law, and Society & Psychological Sciences. This will be my second year engaging in ASUCI, previously an intern for the Housing Security Commission. I am honored and extremely excited to serve as your 2020-2021 Housing Security Commissioner I personally have gone through several housing issues during the past 3 years as a UCI student. Many of my peers have also faced housing insecurities and continue to stress about housing. As the Housing Security Commissioner, I want to ensure that our voices will be heard by the administration about housing insecurities we continue to face. I want to be able to help alleviate housing stress when we are here to focus on academic success and our future. A little more about myself, I am Hmong-American. Hmong people are Southeast Asians who originated from China, residing mainly in China, Southeast Asian countries, and America. Some of my hobbies embroidering, photography, videography, and pretty much anything arts & crafts. I love listening to K-Pop (Woollim stan here), watching K-Dramas, and Anime. My go-to boba order is Taro Milk Tea with Boba from 7Leaves! Please feel free to reach out to me at housing@asuci.uci.edu for any questions, comments, or concerns!
