REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Expeditious Constituent Opinion Disbursement Act (E-CODA)

Whereas tabling is an important function and a requirement of every Legislative Council member’s term, and

 

Whereas individual requests for tabling require one week for funds to be released, pending approval of the Judicial Board as prescribed , and

 

Whereas a previously established account for the purposes of tabling would expedite such events and provide greater flexibility for Council members,  

 

Therefore, Let it be resolved, that $300.00 be allocated from Council Unallocated account #6501-7115 for the purposes of renting tables and chairs by Legislative Council members in good standing through the end of spring quarter 2006.

 

Let it finally be resolved, that any unused funds be returned to Council Unallocated #6501-7115 at the conclusion of spring quarter 2006.
