Whereas, the Office of Academic Affairs will be providing a Study Space in BC Cavern during Finals Week March 20-23, 2006 from 8PM-2AM,

Whereas, providing study snacks and a comfortable study area to ease the pressure during Finals will help facilitate strong study habits,

Whereas, sponsoring the event in conjunction with the Office of Academic Affiars will promote good relations between the Executive and Legislative branches of ASUCI,

Whereas, beverages will already be provided by BC Cavern,

Whereas, food options available on campus are limited during the later hours of the night,

Let it be resolved that $150 be allocated from the Council Unallocated Account #6501 for:
Granola Bars: $75
Pastries: $75

Let it further be resolved that the Legislative Council banner hang in BC Cavern during the Study Space hours,

Let it finally be resolved that any unused funds be returned back into the Council Unallocated Account.

REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.
