REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Staff Computers ASUCI

Whereas, the University recommends that computers be replaced every 3 years, and

 

Whereas, ASUCI staff have been using the same computers for 4 years, and

 

Whereas, the current staff computers are sluggish and out of date, and

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that $18,000 be allocated from General Reserves to purchase new computers and accessories for the ASUCI staff.

 

Let it finally be resolved that the money allocated can also be used to purchase deals on computer/monitor packages, where the computers would be sold to other departments to obtain a greater deal on new monitors .
