REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Finals Week Nourishment

Whereas, it is a responsibility of ASUCI to improve the social life on campus, and

 

Whereas, social events encourage interactions between students, faculty, and other organizations in the Schools of Social Science and Social Ecology and foster a strong sense of community within our schools, and

 

Whereas, the students of Social Sciences and Social Ecology can be easily brought together and socialize while dinning, and

 

Whereas, the students of Social Sciences and Social Ecology need a quick and easy way to receive nourishment before and during their finals,

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocate $275 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7120 towards the following appropriations:

 

Pizza: $200

Refreshments: (Energy/Water/Soda): $75

 

Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council

Unallocated account #6501-7120 at the conclusion of the event.
