REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Request for Funding

Whereas Fine Arts students need a place to showcase their artwork, and Whereas it is the responsibility of the Fine Arts representative to provide a venue for students to express themselves, and Whereas an art show would be an ideal way to end the school year, Therefore, let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocate $550 from Council Unallocated account #6501-7115 for the following appropriations: Supplies (paint, spackle, nails, ect.) - $250 Flyers, didactic labels, lettering - $100 Food, Drinks, utensils - $200 Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Thursday, June 8, 2006, from 5:00-10:00 PM, in the Fine Arts painting studios in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending and/or publicizing the event. Let it further be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account#6501-7115 at the conclusion of the event.
