REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: T.v System for UCI

Whereas, the T.v system for UCI will offer a cable tv channel for student produced shows.

Whereas, ASUCI is collaborating with the T.v system to begin running shows

Whereas, the T.v system for UCI needs cameras to begin film productions

Whereas, ASUCI should invest in this vital campus service to benifit students

Let it be resolved that ASUCI allocate $7,250 from ASUCI reserves for the purchase of the

following equipment:   

Canon XL2 - $3,725 + tax and shipping = est $4,250

Panasonic DVX100B $2,430 + tax and shipping = est $3,000

Let it further be resolved that no money be released until an agreement has been reached

regarding the use of equipment.
