REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: UCI Spirit Day

Whereas, the event will promote school spirit among its constituency, and

Whereas, the UCI campus needs more school spirit, and

Whereas, spirit day will be held once at the beginning of every quarter to aid in the advancement in unity and collaboration among UCI students, and

Whereas, giving effective UCI promotional material, during the event, will facilitate active participants in communicating the event and spirit of the UCI community,

Therefore, let it be resolved that the event take place on January 11, 2007 and $1250.48 be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7115, with remaining funds being returned to Council Unallocated Account #6501-7115.

Highlighters $350

Remainign money will be used for tables and chairs etc.
