All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Chief of Staff Appointment to the Office of Student Services &Transfer of Funds

Whereas the Office of Student Services has a vacant commissioner position,

Whereas the Vice President of Student Services is in need of assistance to manage the office,

Let it be resolved that Chelsey Liwag-Estrada hereby be appointed as Chief of Staff of the Office of Student Services for the remainder of the 2006-2007 academic school year.

Let it further be resolved that half of the remaining funds (about 3 months or $375) from the Concerts Commission stipend account (#6012-7420) be transferred to the Chief of Staff stipend account (#6012-7400).

Let it finally be resolved that the final Chief of Staff stipend funds be allocated as follows for the remainder of the academic school year 2006-2007:

$125/ month for Alex Martos-Deputy Chief of Staff

$200/ month for Chelsey Liwag-Estrada-Chief of Staff
