REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Bio Sci Night @ the Bio Sci Haus

Whereas the Bio Sci Haus in Arroyo Vista houses about 35 students within the School of Biological Sciences, and

Whereas the ASUCI Legislative Council, particularly the Bio Sci Representative, strives to reach out to all her constituents, and

Whereas there are very few opportunities for bio student to interact with professors, counselors, and the Associate Dean in an academic environment, and

Whereas this would provide potential future residents an opportunity to tour the Bio Sci Haus, and

Whereas this event was a great success last year, and

Whereas ASUCI should advertise and inform its constituents about its various activities and action agenda items,

Therefore, Let it be resolved that $366.60be allocated from Council Unallocated account #6501-7115 for the purchase of food, beverages, and utensils for Bio Haus Night in the following appropriations:

Charo Burrito Platter (3 @ $39.95 ) $119.85
Grilled Chicken Ceasar Platter (2 @ $39.95) $79.90
Fiesta Ensalada Platter ( 2 @ $25.95 ) $51.90

TOTAL $366.60

Let it further be resolved that this event occur Thursday, Feb 24, 2005 of Week 7 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Bio Sci Haus in Arroyo Vista,

Let it finally be resolved that all unused funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #6501-7115.
