All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Engineering Survey and Pizza Day

Whereas, one of the goals of the Engineering representatives is to encourage academics, and Whereas, providing pizza and soda will assist students during their studying for midterms and finals, and Whereas a great way to promote student government and advocacy is through a school event, and Whereas, previous quarters? pizza days were a huge success and attracted a lot of positive publicity for ASUCI, and Whereas, this would be an opportune time for the Engineering representative to talk to her constituents and gain valuable constituent opinions and ideas, Therefore, Let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $135 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7115 for the following appropriations Dominoes Pizza @ $5.00 each = $75 Soda and Water = $40 Tax and Misc. = $20 Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 12 - 2 pm on Ring Road in front of the McDonald Douglas Engineering Auditorium. Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending the event and/or helping with the preparations. Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #6501-7115 at the conclusion of the event.
