REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Fine Arts Night in Prado @ Mesa Court

Whereas construction has caused the Arts plaza to be completely fenced off and inaccessible to UCI students, and

Whereas the Fine Arts area is undergoing renovations until Summer 2005, and

Whereas it is the responsibility of Legislative Council to provide events that promote unity within their schools,

Whereas the ASUCI Legislative Council hopes to reach out to freshman and students within the School of the Arts, and

Whereas the Fine Arts Hall in Mesa Court houses about 66 freshman students within the School of the Arts, and

Whereas ASUCI should advertise and inform its constituents about its various activities,

Therefore, Let it be resolved that $350 be allocated from Council Unallocated account #6501-7120 for the purchase of food, beverages, surveys, utensils, and supplies for a Fine Arts Night to be held at Prado in Mesa Court during the second week of Spring Quarter 2005,

Breakdown:
Expected- 40-60 people
Pizza (25)- $250
Drinks-(sodas, water, juice)- $40
Cups and Plates- $20
Miscellaneous- $25
Surveys-$15

Let it finally be resolved that all unused funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #6501-7120.
