All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, having moved into our new location for the Student Center remodel/construction we have discovered that cellular reception is not available in the Student Government space, and Whereas, this is problematic as the Shuttle program relies on cellular phones to keep in touch with Tim Rudek, our shuttle manager, and Whereas, in addition, many student officers and commissioners have expressed frustration in not having cell phone reception in the office, and Whereas, we have found an amplifier/repeater that is specifically designed to get cell phone reception in office buildings. Therefore, let it be resolved that $2,000 de allocated from General Reserves account #6010-7990. For the purchase of a Yagi Antenna, 800 MHz Amp/Repeater, Stealth Antenna, and set up. Let it further be resolved that set-up and installation costs will be incurred, however, we need to wait for those figures from the UCI Student Center Director and maintenance crew. Let it finally be resolved that all remaining funds be returned to General Reserves account #6010-7990. |
