REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Construction Evaluation

Whereas, one of the goals of the Social Science representatives is to get to know his constituents, and

Whereas, a simple evaluation in regards to the construction will provide feedback as to what ASUCI can to do help students with the inconveniences the construction has caused, and

Whereas, a good part of the construction is taking place on the Social Science portion of the UCI campus and primarily affects social science majors, and

Whereas, providing free food will encourage students to provide their opinions regarding the construction, and

Whereas, student feedback will be able to find areas where ASUCI can help students deal with the construction, and

Whereas, this would be a great opportunity for the Social Science Representative to get involved in helping students cope with the construction,

Let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $300 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7120 for the following appropriations

Energy Bars: $250.00
Tax and Misc. $50.00
Total Cost: $300.00


Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Wednesday April 20, 2005 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Ring Road.

Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending the event and/or helping with the preparations.

Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account
#6501-7120 at the conclusion of the event.
