REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Funding for the University Conference

Whereas, the All University Conference is attended by many leaders of clubs and organizations who have ideas and views that represent the students of the University, and

Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Legislative council to be informed of the views of the students whom they represent, and

Whereas the presence of Legislative Council members at an event that is highly participated in and widely accepted as important to the university community is paramount to showing that student government is involved in the concerns and interests of the students whom they represent, and

Whereas, it is in the interest of the  Legislative Council to have members who are deeply and intimately connect to the other student leaders on the UCI campus, and

Whereas, the Legislative Council has the opportunity to send members to attend the All University Conference, and

Whereas, the funding to have these members attend the All University is available in the budget.

Let it therefore be resolved that $645 be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7115 in order to cover the attendance of the All University Conference for the following Representatives:

Rosa Zamora
Josh Shadpour
Armen Aghani
