REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Leg Council Banner

Whereas, the promotion of the Legislative Council at ASUCI funded events is important, and

 

Whereas, Legislative Council needs to be promoted as it is the legislative branch and thus most important branch of the Associated Students, and

 

Whereas, currently the Legislative Council does not have a banner, and

 

Whereas, a new design for the ASUCI logo has been created and is aesthetically pleasing, and

 

Whereas, it is important to use the new logo in promotional material, and

 

Whereas, a banner is a promotional material, and

 

Whereas, a banner can be used by council members at tabling hours, officer hours, and events thrown by council members, and

 

Whereas, a banner is a durable good and will be money well spent.

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that $175 be allocated from the Council Allocated Account, with remaining funds being returned, for the purpose of purchasing a new ASUCI Legislative Council banner which uses the new ASUCI logo.
