REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Bio Superclub

Whereas, quarterly forums for organizations associated with the School of Biological Sciences have been successful in facilitating communications between administration/staff and students, and

 

Whereas, students and administrators who have attended these forums in the past have given very positive feedback regarding their productivity, and

 

Whereas, food is an important factor in maintaining the health, welfare, and attention of all those participating, and

 

Whereas, previous Bio Sci forums have given students the opportunity to shape school-wide policy pertaining to all undergraduate biology students, and

 

Whereas, Bio Superclub allows students and leaders to help Legislative Council achieve its goal of student involvement, and

 

Whereas, ASUCI Legislative Council has approved and funded this event for the past three years,

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $400 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7115 for the following appropriations

 

● Food………….……..$100 per meeting x ~ 4 meetings = $400

 

Let it further be resolved that at least three meetings are held, and that each individual meeting shall not exceed the $100 appropriated to it.

 

Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #6501-7115 at the conclusion of Spring Quarter 2006.
