REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act of 2005 information night

Whereas, Item # 14 R41-10 was a resolution of support for Senate Bill 713 and House of Representatives Bill 1548, The Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act of 2005, by the Legislative Council, and

Whereas, ASUCI has the right to hold educational sessions on issues in the national government that affect students, and

Whereas, the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act of 2005 is an important issue for students who attend UCI, and

Whereas, it is important that students on the UCI campus be informed about the pros and cons of the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act of 2005, and

Now, Therefore, Let it be resolved that on Nov 16 an official ASUCI education seminar be held on the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act of 2005 at Roland Hall 114.

Let it also be resolved that $285 be allocated from Council Unallocated account #6501-7115, with remaining funds being returned, for the following:

$110 IRC and Venue set up (computer, projector, tables).
$75 Purchase of food.
$50 Postcards
$50 Postage

Let it finally be resolved that all members of ASUCI be encouraged to attend.
