REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Express Yourself

Whereas Humanities and Fine Arts students need a place to showcase their talents, and


Whereas it is the responsibility of the Humanities and Fine Arts representatives to provide an outlet for the students to “Express” themselves, and

 

Whereas there has been a lack events held in the Arts Plaza because of the recent construction, and

Whereas Humanities and Fine Arts students have attended and benefited from this event in the past, and

Whereas the Cyber Cafe is an on-campus facility suitable for nighttime events,

Let it therefore be resolved that $70 be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120 in the following appropriations:

Sound - $50
Fliers - $20

Let it further be resolved that this event occur on Thursday, November 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and

Let it further be resolved that Public Info be charged with the task of promoting this event, and

Let it also be resolved that Legislative Council support and attend this event, and

Let it finally be resolved that all unused funds be returned to Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120.
