REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Fuel for the Gruel (Fine Arts Edition)

Whereas, one of the goals of the Fine Arts Rep is to encourage students to achieve academic success, and

Whereas, providing energy boosters will help stimulate their tired brain cells and worn out muscles and help art students survive their finals week (week 10), and

Whereas, passing out energy boosters will allow the Fine Arts representatives meet and communicate with his constituents,

Let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $400 from Council Unallocated account # #6501-7120 for the following appropriations:


Energy Drinks and Energy Bars - $350
Tax and Misc. - $50

Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 from 11:30-1:00pm in the Arts Courtyard.

Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending the event and/or helping with the preparations.

Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #6501-7120 at the conclusion of the event.
