REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Whereas, one of the goals of the Biological Science, Engineering, and ICS representatives is to encourage academics, and
 
Whereas, providing coffee, energy products, and pencils will assist students during their late night studying for finals, and

Whereas, previous quarters’ coffee nights were a huge success and attracted a lot of positive publicity for ASUCI, and

Whereas, this would be an opportune time for the Biological Sciences, ICS, and Engineering representatives to talk to their constituents,

 Let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $423.85 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7115 for the following appropriations

•    Starbucks (variety 12pk)                  5 pks @ $13.38 each = $66.90
•    Promax Bars (24 pk)                        5 pks @ 19.99 each = $99.95
•    Tree Top Apple Juice ( 24 pk)         3 pks @ 5.99 each =  $29.95
•    Rock Star (24pk)                              5 pks @ 27.99 each = $139.95
•    Mechanical Pencils (1 Dz)             20 pks @ 2.58 each = $51.60
•    Starbucks Coffee (5gallons)            ????
•    Tax and Misc.                                                                    $35


Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Wednesday of 10th week, November 30, 2005 from 6:00-8 pm in front of the Science Library quad.

Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending the event and/or helping with the preparations.

Let it further be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account
