REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Stipend Increase

Whereas there has been a change in staffing and commissioner appointment within office Of the President and

Whereas the position of Deputy chief of staff has been removed since fall quarter due to lack of effort and participation

Whereas the current position of Chief of staff was left with the extra work of contacting all commissioners and calling all meetings by themselves

Whereas all assignments assigned by the President that would be divided amongst the two positions are held out by just the Chief of Staff

Whereas budgeting for an increase in stipend has already been accounted for during midyear budgeting

Let it be resolved that the above mentioned position receive a back pay of $50 for each month starting January 1st  ending spring quarter.

Therefore let it be resolved that the funds be pulled from the budget for Statistical Analysis and Communication account #6012-7020.
