REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Transfer to Student Programming Funding Board

Whereas, according to the ASUCI Constitution, Article IV, Section A, “the authority of the Legislative Council shall include…appropriating all ASUCI fee income and requiring a timely and accurate accounting of income and expenditure of all funds” and,

Whereas, there are remaining funds in all of the Executive offices, and,

Whereas, the Student Programming Funding Board (SPFB) has been responsibly and efficiently allocating its money all year and has expended all of its resources, and,

Whereas, SPFB provides a vital service to campus organizations by providing them with the resources to host events that benefit the UCI student body and still has a number of pending applications,

Whereas, all unspent monies in the Executive offices will be returned to ASUCI Reserves at the completion of the academic year,

Let it be resolved that an amount totaling $3200 be transferred from the unspent budgets of the following programs to SPFB account #6423-7600:

 

Campus Affairs program costs              (Account # 6423-7310)            500

ROAR program costs                              (Account #6423-7330)            1000

Legal Clinic program costs                    (Account #6423-7340)            1400

Visual Media program costs                  (Account # 6423-7030)            300
