REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Purchase of New Computers

Whereas the University recommends replacing computers every three years and ASUCI customarily adheres to this policy, and

Whereas, there are several computers in the office that are three years old or older, and

Whereas the computer needs are as follows: 4 for commissioners, 3 for Legislative Council, 2 for the shuttle drivers, 1 for Judicial Board and 1 for the receptionist,

Let it therefore be resolved that Legislative Council purchase 11 new computers at $1008.27 per computer, for an approximate total of $11, 950.52. And because there will be additional costs for tax and shipping let the total allocation, to come from ASUCI Reserves Account #6010, be $12,500. After the purchases have been made, let all unused funds be returned to reserves.
