All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: New University Advertising | |

| Whereas, ASUCI would like to increase the publicity of major events such as movie nights, comedy nights, professor luncheons, etc., Whereas, the New University has approached ASUCI and offered to provide them with discounted rates provided that they enter into an agreement to purchase multiple ads, Whereas, the New University has proposed 10 black and white half page ads and 2 full page black and white ads for a total of $2800, Whereas, the ASUCI President, Academic Affairs Vice President and Student Services Vice President have agreed that this proposal will be beneficial to their programs, Let it therefore be resolved that a total of the following amounts be transfered to Visual Media account 6423-7030: $900 from Speakers and Debate account #6423-7270 $500 from Wayzgoose account #6406-7430 $400 from Reggaefest account #6406-7435 Thus, with the $1800 transfer and $1000 direct contribution from Visual Media there will be $2800 to pay for the 12 aformentioned ads. |
