All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Humanities Quarterly Forum | |

| Whereas, it is part of the mission of ASUCI to encourage student academic rights and responsibilities, and to represent and articulate students rights to a voice in campus governance, and Whereas, an open forum between administrators, faculty, staff, and students about the quality of academic study at UC Irvine would help achieve those goals of academic rights and student advocacy in campus governance, and Whereas, the administration, in particular Associate Dean Richard Lazo of the School of Humanities, has shown to be open and encouraging of this forum and dialogue between students, Therefore, let it be resolved a Humanities Quarterly Forum be held on February 25th, 2009, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, Let it further be resolved that $50 be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120 towards the following allocations: Publicity $50 Let it further be resolved that all remaining funds unused after the event be returned to Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120. |
