All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Transfer of Funds for Reggaefest

Whereas, ASUCI has decided to sponsor and plan an end of the year festival, Reggaefest,

 

Whereas, Reggaefest has been set for the date of June 5th 2009,

 

Whereas, Reggaefest is a established tradition on the UC Irvine campus,

 

Whereas, ASUCI simply needs to provide additional funding to ensure the success of this event,

 

Let it be resolved that a total of  $29,709.53 be transferred to the account, entitled Reggaefest (account# 6423-7435), from the following accounts:

 

Speakers and Debate-Program Costs  (Account # 6423-7270)                    $14,000

Office of Academic Affairs – Program Costs (Account # 6423-7200)           $886.65

Major Concerts – Program Costs (Account # 6423-7420)                           $7,000

Special Events – Program Costs(Account # 6423 – 7460)                            $7,822.88
