Whereas, it is the responsibility of all of ASUCI to improve student life on campus, and

Whereas, it is a goal of the Social Ecology Representatives to encourage both a spirited social and learning environment throughout the School of Social Ecology, and

Whereas, a Professor-Student mixer, hosted by the Social Ecology Student Association, will provide students with an opportunity to get professional advice from professors of Social Ecology in related fields, and

Whereas, hosting the interaction in the form of a dinner will allow for an inviting and sociable atmosphere for the Social Ecology professors and students, and

Whereas, a dinner will provide the opportunity for students to enhance their educational experience with professional development that will both expose the needs to foster solutions for the students in Social Ecology.

Whereas, the detrimental effects of the current recession should not dampen the facilitation of interactions between students and professors. 

Whereas, there needs to be an awareness of the ASUCI Social Ecology Representatives

Therefore, let it be resolved that a Social Ecology Professor-Student Mixer be held during February 24, 2009. 

Let it further be resolved that $50 for food be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120.
