REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: ASUCI Legislative Council Reggaefest Sponsorship

Whereas, Reggaefest will occur June 4th, 2010 as an official ASUCI event, and

Whereas, the ASUCI Legislative Council is an integral part of the Associated Students, University of California, Irvine, and

Whereas, the tie dye booth has had high student participation at previous Reggaefests, and

Whereas, it is an outlined duty of the ASUCI Legislative Council to booth once each quarter,

Therefore, let it be resolved that Legislative Council sponsor the tie dye booth for Reggaefest 2010,

Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council members attend the event and work at the booth unless otherwise excused by either the Chair of the Public Information or Rules Committee, 

Let it finally be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $1600 from the Council Unallocated Account  for the following appropriations:

Table rental 2 X $10

Canopy rental $50

T-shirts $ 1040

Tie dye supplies (such as dye, bags, rubber bands, buckets, etc) $500
