REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Humanities Student-Dean Luncheon

Whereas, it is a responsibility as ASUCI Humanities Representatives to serve as a liaison between students and the faculty,


Whereas, a student-dean luncheon provides a channel for the deans and students to share any questions, comments, and concerns about the Humanities Department,


Whereas, a Humanities Student-Dean Luncheon will be held February 16th, 2010

Whereas, lunch and refreshments will be purchased and provided for the Student-Dean Luncheon to provide further incentive for student attendance,

 

Let it be resolved that $100.00 be allocated from Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120 towards the cost of lunch, with cost-estimates as follows:


Pizza: $50.00
Refreshments, Papers, Plates, Utensils, Napkins: $47.00
Poster Paper: $2.00

Total Cost: $100.00

 

Let it further be resolved that the figures stipulated were strictly approximations and all remaining funds not used [strictly] for the above stipulations be returned to Council Unallocated Account #6501-7120.
