Whereas The Claire Trevor School of the Arts’ production of Edward II premiers April 15 2011 Whereas non-major attendance to various arts related events have been disappointingly low Whereas it has been a goal of the arts representation to increase on-campus publicity for drama productions. Whereas the School of the Arts is unable to fund advertising for the performance Whereas budget cuts have prevented the School of the Arts from promoting individual performances of their own Whereas ASUCI should continue to support the Arts Whereas this project will only be a one time funding and serves to strengthen the bond between the arts and ASUCI Whereas ASUCI and The Clair Trevor School of the Arts will unite to assist in publicity Let it be resolved that $100 be taken from council unallocated (6501-7120) to assist in publicizing Edward II
