All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Reggaefest | |

| Whereas, ASUCI would like to allocate 5K out of the 10K sponsorship from Wayzgoose towards Reggaefest artists, Whereas, Reggaefest has been open to the public in the past, Whereas, a huge amount of Reggaefest attendees (don’t have exact stats but estimating 25%-30%) are not current UCI students or even alumni, Whereas, ASUCI will be charging all non-UCI students a $10 fee to get into the concert, Whereas, we would make back more money because of charging guests instead of not making any money back at all, Whereas in the past we had about 5,000 attendees total in the lower lawn, Whereas, we are moving Reggaefest up to the upper lawn where the capacity is bigger (7,000 people approved by the fire marshall), Whereas, we are expecting at least 1,000 non UCI students to attend this event, Therefore, let it be resolved that the income of Reggaefest will be increased by $10K to book larger entertainment for the event. |
