All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Experience Undergraduate Research in Physical Sciences

 Whereas, an undergraduate research forum would improve communication between students and faculty, provide insight on how to find research, and give the Physical Science representative a chance to gain insight and feedback from his constituents, and

Whereas, providing snacks and drinks will help attract faculty and students to bring them together in an informal setting that will allow them to exchange ideas and information, and

Whereas, ASUCI will be providing money for the purchase of necessary items for the event, Experience Undergraduate Research in Physical Sciences,

Therefore, let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council allocates $133.31 from Council Unallocated account # 6501-7115 for the following appropriations:

Drinks, cups, plates, napkins $30
Pizza $103.31

Therefore, let be resolved ASUCI Legislative Council along with UROP will put on an event "Experience Undergraduate Research in Physical Sciences,

Let if further be resolved that this event occur on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 from 5:00-6:30 p.m in Natural Sciences 1, room 114,

Let it further be resolved that Legislative Council Members show their support by attending the event and/or helping with the preparations.

Let it finally be resolved that the remaining funds be returned to Council Unallocated account
#6501-7115 at the conclusion of the event.
