REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Front Office Reception Reconfigure for Disc Ticket Program

 Whereas, UCItems will be moving to the UCI Bookstore on July 1, 2012,

Whereas, UCItems managed the Discount Ticket program for ASUCI - Student Government,

Whereas, as a part of the MOU Agreement between the UCI Bookstore and ASUCI-Student Government during this transition, ASUCI-Student Government was able to retain the Discount Ticket program,

Whereas, the Discount Ticket program will be re-located to Front Office Reception of Student Government as of June 18, 2012,

Whereas, the Front Office Reception area will need to be reassessed and reconfigured to accommodate the successful transfer of the Discount Ticket program indefinitely along with current Front Office functions to include Business Office and general information,

Whereas, this reconfiguration can only occur during the Summer months due to the low traffic,

Let it be resolved, that $15,000 will be allocated from the ASUCI Reserves for the reconfiguration of the Front Office Reception of Student Government,

Let if further be resolved, that this money will only be allocated for Front Office Reception reconfiguration and improvements in order to accommodate the successful implementation of the Discount Ticket program.
