Whereas the ASUCI offices conduct professional business that often utilizes multi-media, and

Whereas the conference room is unequipped and finding the free-standing necessary resources is unreliable to conduct meetings and presentations of such a caliber, and

Whereas ASUCI Legislative Council through B47-35 converted the reception space of the ASUCI office into the Discount Ticket program Sales operation, and

Whereas the credibility of this retail space could be improved with the addition of items such as output displays and additional signage, and

Whereas the value of the tickets being sold, as well as cash on hand is under unsophisticated security, and

Whereas this liability should be reduced by the installation of a fixed security camera, as is the professional norm, and

Whereas the legacy and values of UCI’s student government should optimally be displayed,

Let it be resolved, that $19,100 will be allocated from the ASUCI Reserves for conference room improvements, Discount Ticket program credibility and security, and visual and/or artifact displays promoting student government legacy and pride, and

Let it be further resolved that a legislative council member be consulted over check-requests processed from this new account,

Let it finally be resolved that all purchases stand in line with resolution R48-15.
