REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Funding for Legislative Council Open House

Whereas, the Public Info Committee works towards publicizing ASUCI Legislative Council; and

 

Whereas, Legislative Council is not publicized enough for the Academic Year 2013-2014; and

Whereas, there are open slots for representatives for a variety of schools; and

 

Whereas, the Legislative Council is supposed to represent every student on campus; and

 

Whereas, the Legislative Council would benefit from increased publicity before elections; and

 

Whereas, Legislative Council has not had an Open House to publicize its presence;

 

Let it be resolved that $87.98 will be taken out of Legislative Council’s Unallocated Account (#6501-7115) to subsidize the costs for ASUCI’S Legislative Council Open House on October 29th as listed in the budget below,
