REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Budget Reallocations

Whereas, it is the duty of each executive officer to perform their duties as outlined in the ASUCI Constitution and By-laws; and

Whereas, every year the executive branch reallocates money to accounts that have inadequate funding; and

Whereas, the budget presentation presented by the Student Services VP be published to the ASUCI website in order for students to access the exact breakdown of the proposed budget.

Whereas in the Constitution in Section B Section 2, Legislative Council by a ¾ voting members vote may authorize a funding “appropriation which would effect a deficit between income and expensives for the fiscal year,”

Whereas, the Student Programming Funding Board running out of money was unanticipated,

Whereas, ASUCI Executive Cabinet has always reallocated money from SPFB for Reggaefest,

LET IT BE RESOLVED that Legislative Council will allow deficit spending for Reggaefest not to exceed $40,0000

LET IT FINALLY BE RESOLVED that $20,000 be allocated from Administration account (7999- 6011) to Shocktoberfest account.
